# Soul vs BYR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BYR at none against Soul's 15. BYR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Soul's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 2) and chart position (#119 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soul sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. BYR asks for nothing beyond the download.

BYR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soul has 10K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
