# CruiseMapper vs TMHub

The clearest difference is ads: TMHub at none against CruiseMapper's shown. TMHub also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and rating (3.8 vs 3.6). CruiseMapper's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 17%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TMHub holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 122 and 90 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of CruiseMapper's written reviews are positive against 17% of TMHub's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CruiseMapper ships an update every 5 months, TMHub monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
