# Pelidom vs WindTVO

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pelidom at free with in-app purchases against WindTVO's subscription. Pelidom also leads on review sentiment (48% vs 33%) and ratings volume (76 vs 16). WindTVO's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pelidom sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and WindTVO sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WindTVO holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 76 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Pelidom's written reviews are positive against 33% of WindTVO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
