# AllMyGuitars vs ChordMaster

The clearest difference is rating: ChordMaster at 5.0 against AllMyGuitars's 4.0. ChordMaster also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). AllMyGuitars's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (29 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AllMyGuitars sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ChordMaster sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChordMaster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllMyGuitars has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AllMyGuitars ships an update every 3 weeks, ChordMaster every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
