# Plejd vs Securitas Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Plejd at 3.4 against Securitas Connect's 2.4. Plejd also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Securitas Connect's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 33%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plejd holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Plejd's written reviews are positive against 62% of Securitas Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
