# Rubicon Connect vs Upcomings

The clearest difference is update cadence: Upcomings at every 3 weeks against Rubicon Connect's every 4 months. Rubicon Connect's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rubicon Connect ships an update every 4 months, Upcomings every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
