# Alpha vs Instagrit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Instagrit at every 3 days against Alpha's every 2 weeks. Instagrit also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alpha sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Instagrit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alpha ships an update every 2 weeks, Instagrit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
