# Printt vs Legacy App

The clearest difference is rating: Printt at 3.9 against Legacy App's 3.1. Printt also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Legacy App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Printt holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 49 and 108 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Printt's written reviews are positive against 25% of Legacy App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Printt ships an update every 3 weeks, Legacy App every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
