# XDV vs OD Cam

The clearest difference is rating: XDV at 2.2 against OD Cam's 1.9. XDV also leads on ratings volume (444 vs 64). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XDV holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XDV has 444 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of XDV's written reviews are positive against 13% of OD Cam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XDV ships an update every 2 months, OD Cam every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
