# XDV vs HOMEVIZ

The clearest difference is rating: XDV at 2.2 against HOMEVIZ's 1.7. XDV also leads on ratings volume (442 vs 31). HOMEVIZ's advantage is review sentiment (19% vs 11%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XDV holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XDV has 442 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of XDV's written reviews are positive against 19% of HOMEVIZ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XDV ships an update every 2 months, HOMEVIZ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
