# Grid # vs Grid

The clearest difference is rating: Grid # at 4.6 against Grid's 3.7. Grid # also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). Grid's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid # sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Grid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grid # holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grid # has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Grid # ships an update every 3 months, Grid every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
