# Grid # vs Overgrid

The clearest difference is ads: Overgrid at none against Grid #'s shown. Overgrid also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). Grid #'s advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid # sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Overgrid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Overgrid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Grid # ships an update every 3 months, Overgrid weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
