# TTLock vs YS Audio

The clearest difference is rating: YS Audio at 3.5 against TTLock's 2.8. YS Audio also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). TTLock's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 45 months) and review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YS Audio holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TTLock has 523 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of TTLock's written reviews are positive against 0% of YS Audio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TTLock ships an update every 3 weeks, YS Audio every 45 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and July 5, 2026 respectively.
