# SelectaSign vs Waterfall Photo Frames Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Waterfall Photo Frames Pro at 4.4 against SelectaSign's 3.7. Waterfall Photo Frames Pro also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 3). SelectaSign's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 19 months) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Waterfall Photo Frames Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Waterfall Photo Frames Pro has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of SelectaSign's written reviews are positive against 67% of Waterfall Photo Frames Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SelectaSign ships an update every 3 months, Waterfall Photo Frames Pro every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
