# SelectaSign vs Camera Crew

The clearest difference is rating: Camera Crew at 4.9 against SelectaSign's 3.7. SelectaSign's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 67%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Camera Crew holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of SelectaSign's written reviews are positive against 67% of Camera Crew's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SelectaSign ships an update every 3 months, Camera Crew every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
