# QLess vs DerbyRec Go

The clearest difference is update cadence: QLess at every 2 months against DerbyRec Go's every 27 months. QLess also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.3 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for QLess against 5.0 for DerbyRec Go. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QLess has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QLess ships an update every 2 months, DerbyRec Go every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
