# QLess vs Mac Community

The clearest difference is rating: QLess at 4.9 against Mac Community's 1.3. QLess also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 10%) and ratings volume (12K vs 54). Mac Community's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

QLess holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QLess has 12K ratings behind it against 54, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of QLess's written reviews are positive against 10% of Mac Community's.

QLess ships an update every 2 months, Mac Community fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
