# Standland vs Honest Scale

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Honest Scale at 100% against Standland's 72%. Honest Scale also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Standland's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standland sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Honest Scale sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Honest Scale holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Standland has 2.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Standland's written reviews are positive against 100% of Honest Scale's.

Standland ships an update every 5 weeks, Honest Scale fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
