# BlinkBook vs ARGOplay

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BlinkBook at 84% against ARGOplay's 28%. BlinkBook also leads on ratings volume (74 vs 1). ARGOplay's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ARGOplay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlinkBook has 74 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of BlinkBook's written reviews are positive against 28% of ARGOplay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BlinkBook ships an update every 2 months, ARGOplay monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
