# Super Sharp vs Perspecto

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Perspecto at none against Super Sharp's 1. Super Sharp's advantage is ratings volume (7.9K vs 16) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Super Sharp costs $1.99 and Perspecto $1.99 up front. Super Sharp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Perspecto asks for nothing beyond the download.

Super Sharp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Sharp has 7.9K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Super Sharp's written reviews are positive against 100% of Perspecto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Sharp ships an update every 16 months, Perspecto every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
