# Keepsake Frames vs Imation Photo Printer

The clearest difference is rating: Keepsake Frames at 4.9 against Imation Photo Printer's 4.0. Keepsake Frames also leads on ratings volume (75K vs 6). Imation Photo Printer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Keepsake Frames holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keepsake Frames has 75K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Keepsake Frames's written reviews are positive against 100% of Imation Photo Printer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Keepsake Frames ships an update every 10 days, Imation Photo Printer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
