# Easy Note 2 vs Zipnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zipnote at fortnightly against Easy Note 2's every 3 months. Zipnote also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Easy Note 2's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zipnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Note 2 has 35 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Easy Note 2's written reviews are positive against 75% of Zipnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Note 2 ships an update every 3 months, Zipnote fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
