# Wi vs Dashguard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dashguard at every 3 weeks against Wi's every 5 months. Wi's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wi ships an update every 5 months, Dashguard every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
