# OHGO vs Riverway

The clearest difference is rating: Riverway at 4.2 against OHGO's 2.3. Riverway also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). OHGO's advantage is ratings volume (251 vs 5) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Riverway holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OHGO has 251 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of OHGO's written reviews are positive against 0% of Riverway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OHGO ships an update every 3 months, Riverway every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
