# Rossmann vs Stadt KL

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stadt KL at 100% against Rossmann's 58%. Stadt KL also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Rossmann's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (2K vs 8). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rossmann holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rossmann has 2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Rossmann's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stadt KL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rossmann ships an update every 3 weeks, Stadt KL every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
