# Endless Learning Academy vs Ascent

The clearest difference is rating: Ascent at 5.0 against Endless Learning Academy's 4.2. Ascent also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). Endless Learning Academy's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Endless Learning Academy sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Ascent sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ascent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Endless Learning Academy has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Endless Learning Academy ships an update every 3 weeks, Ascent every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
