# WiFi FPV vs Novel Master

The clearest difference is rating: Novel Master at 3.8 against WiFi FPV's 2.5. Novel Master also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 8). WiFi FPV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 25) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novel Master sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. WiFi FPV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Novel Master holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Novel Master has 2.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of WiFi FPV's written reviews are positive against 68% of Novel Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WiFi FPV ships an update every 8 months, Novel Master weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
