# UCam Plus vs OCS Smart

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UCam Plus at 60% against OCS Smart's 14%. UCam Plus also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). OCS Smart's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 2.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OCS Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UCam Plus has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of UCam Plus's written reviews are positive against 14% of OCS Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UCam Plus ships an update every 2 months, OCS Smart every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
