# OpenText Core Fax vs FAX +++

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FAX +++ at 100% against OpenText Core Fax's 0%. FAX +++ also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (23 vs 3). OpenText Core Fax's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OpenText Core Fax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FAX +++ has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
