# MyRoute vs CXT Driver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyRoute at 88% against CXT Driver's 39%. CXT Driver's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyRoute sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CXT Driver asks for nothing beyond the download.

CXT Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CXT Driver has 2.3K ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of MyRoute's written reviews are positive against 39% of CXT Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyRoute ships an update every 4 months, CXT Driver every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
