# eWeLink vs GEELY DVR

The clearest difference is rating: GEELY DVR at 5.0 against eWeLink's 2.7. GEELY DVR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 29). eWeLink's advantage is ratings volume (71 vs 1) and review sentiment (28% vs 8%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eWeLink sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. GEELY DVR asks for nothing beyond the download.

GEELY DVR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eWeLink has 71 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of eWeLink's written reviews are positive against 8% of GEELY DVR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eWeLink ships an update monthly, GEELY DVR every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
