# DummyQ vs Slots

The clearest difference is ads: DummyQ at none against Slots's shown. DummyQ also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 15.0). Slots's advantage is ratings volume (320 vs 10) and review sentiment (70% vs 62%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DummyQ sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Slots sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for DummyQ against 4.5 for Slots. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slots has 320 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of DummyQ's written reviews are positive against 70% of Slots's.

DummyQ ships an update every 5 weeks, Slots every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
