# FruitPot vs Blind Mahjong

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FruitPot at 94% against Blind Mahjong's 67%. FruitPot also leads on ratings volume (147 vs 7). Blind Mahjong's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FruitPot sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Blind Mahjong sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blind Mahjong holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FruitPot has 147 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of FruitPot's written reviews are positive against 67% of Blind Mahjong's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FruitPot ships an update every 6 weeks, Blind Mahjong fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
