# Hamster Puzzles vs HamTower

The clearest difference is update cadence: HamTower at every 9 days against Hamster Puzzles's every 30 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hamster Puzzles sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and HamTower sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hamster Puzzles ships an update every 30 months, HamTower every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
