# BrainFights vs NoteSight

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteSight at every 6 days against BrainFights's every 11 months. BrainFights's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainFights sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoteSight sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrainFights ships an update every 11 months, NoteSight every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
