# Fire Team vs Bombman Legend

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fire Team at 72% against Bombman Legend's 27%. Fire Team also leads on iOS requirement (8.1 vs 13.0). Bombman Legend's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fire Team sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bombman Legend asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bombman Legend holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bombman Legend has 361 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Fire Team's written reviews are positive against 27% of Bombman Legend's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fire Team ships an update every 5 weeks, Bombman Legend monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
