# Fire Team vs Bombsquad

The clearest difference is ads: Fire Team at none against Bombsquad's shown. Fire Team also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 15.0). Bombsquad's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fire Team sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bombsquad sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bombsquad holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Fire Team's written reviews are positive against 50% of Bombsquad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
