# CitNOW Sales vs CarCutter

The clearest difference is rating: CitNOW Sales at 4.5 against CarCutter's 3.1. CarCutter's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CitNOW Sales holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CarCutter has 51 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of CitNOW Sales's written reviews are positive against 48% of CarCutter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CitNOW Sales ships an update every 2 weeks, CarCutter fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
