# weex vs Telmex

The clearest difference is rating: Telmex at 4.6 against weex's 3.8. Telmex also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (6.1K vs 13). weex's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (20% vs 10%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Telmex holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Telmex has 6.1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of weex's written reviews are positive against 10% of Telmex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

weex ships an update every 2 months, Telmex monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
