# AcuSetter vs CREATIVATE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AcuSetter at 75% against CREATIVATE's 18%. AcuSetter also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). CREATIVATE's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 16 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CREATIVATE holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CREATIVATE has 405 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of AcuSetter's written reviews are positive against 18% of CREATIVATE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AcuSetter ships an update every 16 months, CREATIVATE every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
