# EagerTots vs Ball Slide

The clearest difference is rating: Ball Slide at 5.0 against EagerTots's 2.4. Ball Slide also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). EagerTots's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EagerTots sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Ball Slide sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ball Slide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EagerTots has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EagerTots ships an update every 2 months, Ball Slide monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
