# KeepKontact vs KTrunk

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KeepKontact at 100% against KTrunk's 50%. KeepKontact also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). KTrunk's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KTrunk sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. KeepKontact asks for nothing beyond the download.

KTrunk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of KeepKontact's written reviews are positive against 50% of KTrunk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KeepKontact ships an update every 3 weeks, KTrunk monthly. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
