# Ebitcam vs Cloud2 VMS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cloud2 VMS at none against Ebitcam's 11. Cloud2 VMS also leads on review sentiment (36% vs 12%). Ebitcam's advantage is rating (3.3 vs 2.9) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ebitcam sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Cloud2 VMS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ebitcam holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 32 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Ebitcam's written reviews are positive against 36% of Cloud2 VMS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ebitcam ships an update every 5 weeks, Cloud2 VMS every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
