# YoSmart vs YoLink

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YoLink at 43% against YoSmart's 0%. YoLink also leads on ratings volume (54 vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). YoSmart's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.2) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YoSmart holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YoLink has 54 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of YoSmart's written reviews are positive against 43% of YoLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YoSmart ships an update every 2 months, YoLink every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
