# Minesweeper· vs Minesweeper

Minesweeper· and Minesweeper both sit at 2.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 36% of Minesweeper·'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Minesweeper's. Minesweeper· also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22 vs 1). Minesweeper's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Minesweeper holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minesweeper· has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Minesweeper·'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Minesweeper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Minesweeper· ships an update every 4 months, Minesweeper every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
