# SalonCentric vs Mangomint

SalonCentric and Mangomint both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of Mangomint's written reviews are positive against 13% of SalonCentric's. Mangomint also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SalonCentric's advantage is ratings volume (37K vs 56). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SalonCentric holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SalonCentric has 37K ratings behind it against 56, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of SalonCentric's written reviews are positive against 68% of Mangomint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SalonCentric ships an update monthly, Mangomint every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
