# SalonCentric vs MeGo Client

The clearest difference is rating: SalonCentric at 4.8 against MeGo Client's 2.3. SalonCentric also leads on ratings volume (37K vs 26) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). MeGo Client's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SalonCentric holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SalonCentric has 37K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of SalonCentric's written reviews are positive against 14% of MeGo Client's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SalonCentric ships an update monthly, MeGo Client every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
