# ServiceTitan Mobile vs Simplifi Scout

The clearest difference is rating: Simplifi Scout at 4.2 against ServiceTitan Mobile's 2.9. ServiceTitan Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 5) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Simplifi Scout holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ServiceTitan Mobile has 1.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of ServiceTitan Mobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of Simplifi Scout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ServiceTitan Mobile ships an update every 5 weeks, Simplifi Scout every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
