# Weather Fine vs Bluclock

Weather Fine and Bluclock both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bluclock's written reviews are positive against 69% of Weather Fine's. Bluclock also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). Weather Fine's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 56 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for Weather Fine against 4.0 for Bluclock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather Fine has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 69% of Weather Fine's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bluclock's.

Weather Fine ships an update fortnightly, Bluclock every 56 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
