# Stopfinder vs Melissa ISD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Melissa ISD at 100% against Stopfinder's 32%. Stopfinder's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 9) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stopfinder holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stopfinder has 16K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Stopfinder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Melissa ISD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stopfinder ships an update every 3 months, Melissa ISD every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
